We were a group of four adults cycling along the coast. Everything was very well organised from start to finish. The hotels were lovely and of a high standard, the bikes were comfortable and in excellent condition, and the information, transfers, and services provided by Paul and his team were outstanding. A problem with one of the bikes was resolved quickly, and they were also very helpful when we requested a change of plans for the final night of our trip. I would definitely recommend this company for self-guided cycling holidays in the Algarve.

To my surprise, the Algarve is a fantastic destination for singletrack mountain biking. The rides are adapted to your level and include everything from technical singletrack with rocky sections to wide double tracks with stunning hilltop views. The tour starts in Albufeira, where Marco meets you at the shop before driving you to the starting point in the hills, around 20 minutes away. The halfway point is the beautiful village of Alte, home to a natural spring, swimming area, and waterfallmperfect for a refreshing break. After a drink at the local pub, you'll ride through beautiful fruit orchards and more scenic trails back to the starting point.

We've enjoyed several guided cycling tours across Central America and Asia, and this was definitely the best in terms of both the routes and our guides. Over five days of cycling, we were completely immersed in the authentic Algarve, a side of the region rarely experienced by those who only visit the coast. Riding through rural villages gave us the opportunity to enjoy the local food, culture, and hospitality. Our guides know the area incredibly well and adapted each day's ride to suit the group's abilities, which made a huge difference for everyone. For a visual and sensory feast, this time of year is perfect for exploring the Algarve on two wheels. We couldn't recommend this team highly enough and will certainly be back to experience another tour soon.
