Important Tips

TYRES

Worn-out tyres are more prone to punctures and make your bike unstable.
Inner tubes can burst — replace them whenever needed and inflate them according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Always check the rim alignment and the condition of the spokes. Hubs should be lubricated regularly.
Cranksets, cassettes/freewheels, chains, and pedals should always be well-lubricated. Use specific lubricants.
Keep the front and rear derailleurs properly adjusted for precise gear shifting and to prevent premature wear of components.
Unusual noises may indicate a lack of lubrication or the presence of dirt.
Keep the bolts near the stem, handlebars, and levers tightened, and check for any play in the headset.
  • A spare inner tube or a patch repair kit;
  • Tire levers to remove the tire;
  • A pump, with or without a pressure gauge;
  • Wrenches in the correct sizes and types for your bike’s components;
  • A chain tool and spare quick links.
