FAQ
Who can participate in GPS Race 2025?
The event is open to all MTB cyclists over 18 years old. It doesn't matter if you're an amateur or an experienced cyclist, the important thing is the spirit of adventure!
How does navigation work during the course?
Navigation is done exclusively by GPS. Before the event, you will receive the GPX files with the complete route, so you can upload them to your device. There are no physical markings on the route.
Are there support points along the route?
No, the event is done in complete autonomy.
What is the distance and elevation of the routes?
For the first stage, the approximate distance is 90km and 1825m of elevation gain, and for the second stage, 69km and 1600m of elevation gain.
What is the registration fee?
Registration fee: €55, includes: - Participation in both days of the event with a bib, timing, and prizes for the top 3 finishers, male and female; - Luggage transportation between Loulé, Almodôvar, and return. - Dinner with drinks for all participants at a typical Alentejo restaurant. - Various goodies.
Is accommodation included in the registration?
The registration fee does not include accommodation, so the booking is up to each participant's discretion.
Can I bring companions to the dinner?
Yes. Dinner for accompanying guests can be reserved for €30 per person.
When do the registrations close?
Registration is available until January 7th or until the 150 available spots are filled.
