One of the highlights is Carvoeiro, home to one of the Algarve’s most iconic beaches. As you reach Ferragudo, a fishing village by the sea, you’ll admire its charming white houses stacked along the hillside beneath the local church.

Leaving the busier coastal area, the route continues with a gentle and steady climb along a peaceful rural road with scenic views over the Arade River and the mountains—leading you to Silves, a historic city known for its impressive hilltop castle.
